The Svendborg Brakes FAV thruster disc brakes are ideal for high braking torque applications and are designed for heavy duty use; they offer precise torque selection and easy maintenance. They operate by releasing the brake pads from the disc when the electro-hydraulic thruster is energized and applying the brake when de-energized. Braking torque up to 21,800 Nm. The FAV Thruster disc brakes can be equiped with multiple sensors to control the status and health of the brake.
